Dark Sky Discovery Tour/ Lunar & Celestial Highlights Tour
(approx. 5 hours total; moderately dark sky)
Escape to a dark location for a guided astronomy adventure under Nevada's dark skies.
This tour is available Thursdays through Sundays. There are two versions of this tour depending on phase of the moon: 1) Dark Sky Discovery; or 2) Lunar & Celestial Highlights. They are indicated on the Calendar of available dates.
Duration: Approximately 5 hours (3+ hours of observing + 2 hours of total travel)
Location: Dark Sky location approximately 60 to 70 minutes from Las Vegas. Darkness rating: Bortle 4
What you'll see: The Milky Way (when in season). Telescopic views of stars, planets, and deep sky objects (galaxies, nebulas, clusters, galactic goodies based on season and moon phase)
Age requirement: 10 and up
Dark Sky Discovery Tour Cost: starting at $125/person (up to 10 people); $300 minimum
Special events such as lunar eclipses or meteor showers may be higher.

Age requirement: 10 and up
Super Dark Sky Immersive Tour Cost: starting at $150/person (up to 10 people); $375 minimum
